Contrary to popular belief, I am still treating patients in my clinic at the golf club. Naturally in response to the terrible situation we all find ourselves in, my modus operandi has had to change considerably. With all areas, entrances, corridors, toilet facilities, doors and handles etc, being disinfected, by me, prior to recieving clients, between clients and post the days treatments, and also the need for PPE to an appropriate level. This has unfortunately had the knock on effect of reducing the number of clients I can see in any one day. One of the modifications to help overcome this consequence has been the purchase of a decommissioned ambulance which I am in the process of modifying to make it suitable for my clinical use at a variety of locations within the islands. There are some difficulties with obtaining the parts I need to do this, but once it is up and running I will be able to provide a much more secure environment to practice in. Thus reducing the risk of transmission of infection to a much reduced level. Ambulances, as I'm sure you are aware, are designed with ease of disinfection and control of infection in mind, and are therefore ideal for my purposes. Comments and pointers will be much appreciated and careful consideration given to all. I wish you all a safe journey back to normality. Be safe and look after each other. Take care people.
